There are cases that you need to fully refund or partial refund an online order. Please first contact your customer to see if they accept other type of compensations, for example, replace an out-of-stock item with another item, giving a gift card, coupon for the next visit, etc. But if you still need to issue a full refund or partial refund, you can do it easily from the Selflane POS App.
In the Selflane POS App, select the order, then click Edit.
If the order has been closed, click the reopen button on the left side first.
In the pop up, you will have three options for an online order:
1. Cancel the order. Customer would receive a full refund for canceled orders.
2. Partial Refund. Enter the pre-tax amount of the refund, our system would automatically calculate the post-tax total and issue the refund to the customer.
3. Adjust Price. If the customer asked certain item in the note and the item is not free, you can add charges to the customer here.
For refunded transactions, by the nature of online processing, we can't refund you the processing fee for the refunded amount.
